The Ministry of Manpower, Singapore, has just released an OSH Alert on the recent tower crane collapse. Based on the MOM OSH Alert it appears that the immediate cause is the failure of the crane’s foundation.
If you are not a subscriber to the OSH alert, the actual archive of the osh alert should be available by early March 2008 on MOM’s website.
